R2R consultants work collaboratively with organizations to design effective, rhythm based interventions tailored to the specific needs of different population groups.
Our three major focuses are ensuring our training programs address:
- Specific issues or themes identified by your staff
- The confidence of your staff in utilising rhythmic music as an effective intervention
- Instigating ongoing evaluation to ensure this work is making a difference

FOR AGED CARE
Rhythm2Recovery work with aged care services to implement recreational wellness programs that enrich the lives of older citizens. These programs are deliberately constructed to promote social connection, lift mood and deliver both physiological (improved coordination, balance and gross motor development) and psychological benefits (improved cognition, emotional regulation and memory retention).
Simon Faulkner creates programs that are complex in their foundations and brilliant in the simplicity and accessibility of delivery. Simon has the ability to take complex ideas and skills, and put them into the hands of teachers, facilitators and students. His deep understanding in the basics of teaching rhythm and therapeutic drumming combine in a powerful and rewarding method of reaching those with social, intellectual, or emotional issues.
Quite simply — it works.
Group Facilitator Saskatoon, Canada
The evocative nature of drumming and the way in which Simon uses this firstly to teach facilitators and secondly to work with young people at risk, is a powerful combination that gets results. His background in therapeutic practice and his ability to meld drumming into his work gives the participant facilitator a good foundation on how to duplicate this work. Backed up by evidenced based practice, and a (number of years) experience in facilitating drum circles, Simon’s work and programs are successful in creating a platform for health and wellbeing.
